The team at The Center for Pain Psychology. is composed of professionals deeply committed to exploring and understanding the experience of pain—in the body, in the mind, and in the connections between them. It is a diverse collective of psychologists, physicians, expressive arts therapists, researchers, and senior lecturers, active in the clinical, academic, and research.
We view pain as more than just a symptom—it is an invitation to encounter, to understand, and to process. Guided by this perspective, we have developed a range of training programs rooted in a broad spectrum of knowledge: neuroscience, dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mind-body approaches, medicine, the arts, philosophy, and more.
